Federal Benefits
U.S. Citizens who are currently receiving monthly benefits from a Federal agency (e.g., Social Security Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Personnel Management or Railroad Retirement Board) should contact the Consular Section to advise us of your residence in Kenya. One can then inquire about the procedures of having his or her benefits checks sent to Nairobi. Direct bank deposits cannot be effected in Kenya.
