WARDEN MESSAGE: AMERICAN CITIZENS WHO WISH TO LEAVE KENYA

This Warden Message is being issued to advise American citizens that during this time of political turmoil, the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi wants to ensure that American citizens in Kenya have the best possible contact with the Consular Section.  Any American citizen in need of assistance departing Kenya should contact the Consular Section at either Kenya_acs@state.gov or 0722-209-960.  When writing or calling, please have your U.S. passport number available.

Americans living or traveling in Kenya are encouraged to register with the U.S. Embassy through the State Department’s travel registration website at https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/ui/ to obtain updated information on travel and security within Kenya.  Americans without Internet access may register directly with the U.S. Embassy.  By registering, American citizens make it easier for the Embassy to contact them in case of emergency.
