Non-Immigrant Visa
Welcome to the Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) Appointment System.
All NIV applicants, including those who wish to renewal their visas MUST schedule an appointment. Please remember to bring your appointment letter to your scheduled appointment.

Appointments once booked CANNOT be cancelled or changed.
How do I make an appointment?
1. Select the date and time most convenient to you. Make a separate appointment for EACH member of your family or persons traveling with you. Each individual visa applicant, including children, must appear at the Embassy for an interview.
2. Schedule only one appointment per person. If you schedule numerous appointments, they will not be accepted and you will NOT be granted entry into the Consular Section.
4. If the date and time you want is not available, it means that the day is fully booked or the Consulate is closed and you will need to select another day.
5. Type your full name (last name first), phone number, and the LAST 6 digits of your passport number. (The phone number you provide will only be used if necessary to cancel your appointment).
6. Print out a copy of your appointment receipt to bring to your interview. If you fail to print the appointment letter or misplace it, please send us an email with your details to confirm. consularnairobi@state.gov
Please be prompt and check to make sure that you have completed every item on your application forms DS-156, DS-157, DS-158 to facilitate data entry. Your application will not be considered if the forms are not complete. If you arrive late or miss your appointment, please book a new appointment.
