Tips for US Visa Applicants
If you choose to present a bank statement in support of your NIV application, always present your personal bank statement (except for students). Make sure to present an original statement from a commercial bank recognized by the Central Bank of Kenya. Please note: SACCO’s do not meet this requirement. Third-party sponsorship is not accepted for most non-immigrant visa classifications.
Student Applicants:
- Make sure your sponsor has filled out the Student Visa Sponsor Consent Form available at (hyperlink).
- Only present original, personal bank statements for your sponsor. Copies or bank statements from businesses or groups will not be accepted. Make sure to present an original statement from a commercial bank recognized by the Central Bank of Kenya
