Schedule an Appointment
Welcome to Embassy Nairobi’s American Citizen Services online appointment system.
You can no longer make an appointment to report the Birth Abroad of an American Citizen. All applicants should have their application package, pre-screened before an appointment is made for you. For complete details on how to apply for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad. You can schedule other appointments using our online system for the following services:
- Notarial services
- Passport Services
- Additional Visa Pages
If you require one of the above three services visit the Department of State Travel site.
In addition to the appointment system, since June 15, 2011, the American Citizen Services section has been accommodating walk-in clients from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Mondays and Wednesdays except the last Wednesday of the month or any Kenyan or American holidays in an effort to improve the timeliness and quality of our services. During these walk-in hours, we provide notarial and passport services, including requests for extra pages. Due to the length of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) appointments, we request that all CRBA cases continue to come by appointment only. This change is intended to reduce customer waiting times, and hopefully, make your visit to the Consular Section more pleasant.
Appointments for other American Citizen Services and not relating to the issuance of a visa can be made by sending an e-mail to Kenya_ACS@state.gov.
No Visa appointments can be made through American Citizen Services. Please do not schedule an appointment with ACS for visa related services. For visa questions please contact the appropriate section:
