Welcome to the US Embassy Nairobi's Consular Section web site. This site gives you access to a full range of Consular Services. The U.S. Embassy in Nairobi makes every effort to treat customers professionally and with dignity. Our operations are among the largest in sub-Saharan Africa and we continue to improve on our customer service.
The U.S. Embassy is located at United Nations Avenue, Gigiri, across from the UN Complex.
We provide the following services:
• Non-immigrant Visas - temporary visits for pleasure, exchange programs, study and temporary employment.
• Immigrant Visas - permanent residency, marriage to an American citizen and adoptions
General questions regarding immigrant visas, or any questions regarding asylum and refugee issues, should be directed to the local office of the Department of Homeland Security, Telephone 363-6042, Fax 363-6103.
