The Ambassador of the United States of America cordially invites U.S. Citizens and their immediate family in Kenya to a Town Hall Meeting to discuss the ongoing political situation:

Time:          10:30 am to 12:00 pm

Venue:         Amphitheater
               U. S. Embassy
               Nairobi, Kenya


10:30 am - Welcome by Acting Deputy Chief of Mission, John Hoover

10:35 am – Remarks by Ambassador Michael Ranneberger on the political situation, followed by Q/As

11:30 am - Presentation by Regional Security Office on the security situation 

11:45 pm – Presentation by Consular Section

12:00 noon Additional Questions and Discussion
 Consular, Security, and Management officers will be in attendance.

12:30 pm - Closing

If you are planning to attend this event, please be seated by 10:00 am. If you have any concerns that you would like the U.S. Embassy to address at the meeting, please send an e-mail to kenya_acs@state.gov.

For security reasons, please bring your U.S. passport for entry to the meeting. Foreign-born family members please bring your passport with you for ID purposes.
